This cake has a beautifully rustic feel. Made from lots of hand-made layers of sponge held together with thin layers of mascarpone cream, it has a subtly-sweet honey flavour. Finished off with mascarpone cream, this is a cake that has been made with love.
Honey layers: Plain flour, honey, unsalted butter, eggs, baking powder and salt.
Cream: Thickened Cream, Mascarpone Cream, icing sugar and vanilla extract.
