This Red Velvet Cake is made with natural food colouring, hence why the red isn't that strong. Moist and delicate in flavour this cake is well balanced with the cream cheese that goes in between each layer and on the outside of the cake.
Decoration will vary depending on berry seasonality and chocolates available.
Sponge: Flour, caster sugar, eggs, unsalted butter, vegetable oil, eggs, buttermilk, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla extract, white vinegar, salt and Hopper's Cherry Red food colouring.
Icing: Philadelphia Cream cheese, unsalted butter, icing sugar, vanilla extract.
