Not all tiramisu was created equal.
This cake defies the theory that bad things come in threes. Boasting three layers of fluffy vanilla sponge soaked in espresso coffee, each followed by a layer of mascarpone cream, this tiramisu goes one step further and calls on the expertise of the Belgians for a dusting of chocolate cocoa powder. A cake that makes a statement, it’s also decorated with mascarpone cream swirls, coffee beans, chocolate wafers and chocolate curls.
Sponge: Flour, sugar, butter, milk, eggs, baking powder, vanilla extract and salt.
Cream: Thickened cream, Mascarpone cheese, icing sugar and vanilla extract.
