One Fine Day Wedding Fair June 2021
We had such a great event on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June 2021 at our first ever wedding expo at The Cutaway Barangaroo Reserve, Sydney!
Late nights - early mornings and lots of hard work went to preparing this event. We didn't know what to expect, but can happily say it was a huge success! We met so many beautiful brides to be, vendors, models, suppliers, etc..
We did not have our stand perfectly set up on Saturday as our "back wall plan" was not really working due to the heavy wind on the day - oh how stressful! We hope people focused on our cake display and the samples we were giving out! We were also delivering cakes to many customers over the weekend and had the shop in Middle Cove open for cake slices, gluten-free cupcakes, vegan cupcakes and empanadas. As you can see it was a lot to manage and things always end up taking longer than expected!
On Sunday our stall was looking beautiful and we had sorted the back wall! Yay!
Over the weekend Julia and Gabriela gave out mini cupcakes. Almost 1,000 samples were demolished. Our flavours were Dulce De Leche, Raspberry Coulis and Lemon Curd.
The most popular flavour was our Dulce de Leche Mini Cupcake. We also had some gluten-free samples available on Sunday: these included a gluten-free Dulce de Leche Cheesecake, gluten-free Vanilla Cupcakes and gluten-free Dark-chocolate and raspberry cake.
To finalise the event we shared our double stacked Pavlova - which was featured in Vogue Brides Magazine 2020, with neighbouring vendors!
The fair was so much fun; a complimentary CHAMBORD drink on arrival, music, beautiful vendors showcasing their products and/or services and HELLO JUNE runway shows on each day!
As a thank you and special token to everyone who came to see us we decided to run this amazing competition. Even if you didn't attend the event you can still enter.
