Sydney Good Food & Wine Show 2023

After the success of the Taste of Manly festival in May, we were invited to take part in the Sydney Good Food & Wine Show which was held from 23 – 25 June 2023.

We felt very honoured and privileged to be invited, gave an enthusiastic "Yes!", and got busy organising staff, the stand design, menu and ordering ingredients etc.

The menu at Taste of Manly had been such a success, we wanted to offer the Sydney Good Food & Wine Show patrons similar options with all of our most popular treats e.g. our freshly made empanadas, cakes, cupcakes (vegan and gluten-free!), brownies, sausage rolls and meat pies.

Unfortunately it did end up being a higher cost of involvement than initially thought, with more fees and costs than we expected.

However it was great brand exposure for us and we grew our marketing list by a lot.

We even sold out of our meat pies, Dulce de Leche Cheesecake, and our Tres Leches Cake!

So while we were very excited to take part, it did end up being very costly for us.

It was a great lesson and we are definitely more aware of what is involved in being a part of large events such as these in the future.
